Dr Edward Hsu

Dr Edward Hsu is a highly qualified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with both dental and medical degrees from the University of Queensland, where he graduated with honours in Dentistry in 1999 and Medicine in 2003.

He completed advanced surgical training across major hospitals in Queensland, gaining broad experience in complex oral and facial procedures before achieving Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS OMS). Dr Hsu is registered as a specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with both the Australian Dental Board and the Australian Medical Board.

To further extend his expertise, Dr Hsu undertook additional fellowship training at one of London’s busiest tertiary referral hospitals, developing advanced skills in facial trauma, reconstructive surgery and orthognathic procedures. He is a proud member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA), Australian Medical Association (AMA) and the Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ANZAOMS).

Alongside his private practice, Dr Hsu holds a public appointment as a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. He is actively involved in the education of medical and dental students and plays a key role in training the next generation of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
