Dr Howard Cho

Dr Howard Cho is a highly experienced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with a strong commitment to patient care and surgical excellence. He provides a full range of oral and maxillofacial procedures, offering his patients comprehensive, evidence-based treatment in a calm and supportive environment.

Dr Cho completed his dental degree with distinction at the University of Otago, New Zealand, before obtaining his medical degree from the University of Queensland. He began his career at Waikato Hospital in New Zealand, where early exposure to craniofacial deformity, oral pathology and facial trauma inspired him to pursue further specialist training.

He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery registrar training in Victoria and Queensland, gaining extensive experience across Townsville Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. To further develop his expertise, Dr Cho undertook a clinical fellowship at Dalhousie University in Canada, focusing on corrective jaw (orthognathic) surgery and surgical treatment for obstructive sleep apnoea.
