Dr Yeeshu Singh

Dr Yeeshu Singh is an experienced Paediatric Neurologist and Epileptologist with extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological conditions in children. He is dedicated to providing holistic, patient-centred care and ensuring families are actively involved in every stage of decision-making.

Dr Singh currently works as a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist at Queensland Children’s Hospital and Gold Coast University Hospital, while also serving as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Queensland. He completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians through specialist training at Queensland Children’s Hospital, where he developed a deep interest in childhood epilepsy and complex neurological disorders.

He later completed an Epilepsy Fellowship at Queensland Children’s Hospital, and undertook advanced EEG and electrophysiology training at the Cleveland Clinic in the United States. Dr Singh’s expertise includes epilepsy, headache, neuromuscular diseases, developmental disorders, movement disorders and behavioural neurology.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr Singh has a strong passion for research. He served as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Children’s Health Research in Brisbane, contributing to studies on cannabidiol (CBD) therapy, autistic spectrum disorder, and drug-refractory epilepsy, including CDKL5 mutation. He has published numerous research papers and authored book chapters in paediatric neurology.

Actively engaged in the wider medical community, Dr Singh is a member of the International Child Neurology Association (ICNA), the Australia and New Zealand Child Neurology Society (ANZCNS) and the Australian Epilepsy Society (AES).
