Dr Anthony Lynham

Dr Anthony Lynham is an accomplished Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with extensive experience in facial trauma, reconstructive and dentoalveolar surgery. He is recognised for his dedication to delivering precise, evidence-based care and for his compassionate approach to patient wellbeing.

Dr Lynham completed his surgical training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Queensland before undertaking a Fellowship in Switzerland, where he gained advanced experience in complex facial reconstruction and trauma management.

His clinical practice encompasses the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including orbital and post-traumatic facial reconstructive surgery, orthognathic (jaw) surgery, bone grafting, dental implants, dentoalveolar surgery, wisdom teeth removal, sleep apnoea surgery, and the management of oro-facial pathology.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr Lynham holds an academic appointment as an Associate Professor at the University of Queensland School of Medicine. He has published widely and is regularly invited to speak at national and international surgical conferences.

Dr Lynham also provides complex independent medico-legal assessments and reports across multiple Australian jurisdictions, covering motor vehicle injuries, public liability, workers’ compensation, Comcare, superannuation, and Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) matters.
